Honours Thesis Students

Anna Klaming

Anna is currently completing their fourth year at Laurier in the BSc Psychology and Neuroscience program with a minor in Biology. Anna’s honours thesis focuses on auditory processing differences in people with and without ADHD. After graduation, Anna hopes to pursue further studies in the field of cognitive neuroscience.



Research interests:Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), sensory processing, pain perception, and recovery after brain injury.

Claire Christoff

Claire is in her fourth year of the Psychology and Neuroscience program, with a minor in Biology. Her thesis topic pairs childhood autism stigma and eye tracking, allowing her to delve into the correlations between gaze patterns and first impressions. Outside of her project, Claire dedicates her primary focus to coffee, dancing, and her cats.



Research interests: eye tracking, saccadic eye movements, childhood attention patterns, cognitive neuroscience

Soraiya Saunders

Soraiya is a third year student completing a BSc in Psychology and Neuroscience. In the future, she hopes to pursue a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy, with a focus on attentional bias, intolerance of uncertainty, and sensory processing. Her long-term goal is to integrate clinical practice with research to better understand how these factors interact with mental health and treatment outcomes.



Research interests: Intolerance of uncertainty, attentional bias, social anxiety disorder, ADHD, autism, sensory processing, trauma, drug use, and psychotherapy approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
